Better than Crack (or at least I would imagine so)

I have found a new obsession...fabric! I decided to make some curtains for my new house. After spending two hours (when I should have been studying for my boards) at Jo Ann Fabrics, I decided that the internet would be better for me since Alex has decided to boycott shopping [Not to mention she toots all the time when in a shopping cart so I constantly have to make sure customers around me know it was her and not me by saying something to Alex about HER toots.] Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, my new obsession. I did find fabric for curtains at the store but I wasn't completely in love with them. But the price was right. Before bed I found a website that I am now totally addicted to (since last night). I have wonderful ideas for presents and things I want to make for my house. The only problem is finding the time to make everything. So far (I have made an excel sheet with gift ideas and fabric needed) I have nine gifts! yikes!

There are so many cool blogs about sewing. Another distraction that will take away from sewing time. Sometimes I find myself wandering through my house picturing patterns and things I could sew to add something new to the room. I just now (while searching for pics to put on here) found tons of sewing sites and ideas for other things to sew for gifts! Holy Shit! I better get busy!I enjoy finding things to sew almost more than actually making them! hmmm?
