More life in pics...

Alex and Jack (and Cooper) trying out the new barbie fishing pole.

Al with her Grandpa

Tim with the kiddos in our new boat!

Oh my...what a hot picture! But it was the only pic of both of us on our anniversary!

Our view...with our cheetos...on our anniversary. Life is good.

Alex and her cousin Jack eating gummy worms.

My babes and me at home...Alex's new camera face. It's all I get these days.

Finally a smile...us up at the lake house

Glamorous Coop

My hunky man on the cliffs at the lake. He likes to climb up them like a bad a**! Alex jumped off the smaller ones all by herself this year! Wahoo!

While at the lake, Tim and I remembered it was our six year anniversary. We got so busy with life we nearly forgot. We celebrated on the deck (after bedtime for the kiddos) with cheetos and beer. We really know how to live it up. We took our new boat up and had some fun getting use to it and me practicing driving and launching it. Good times. We are in love with it.
Sam was cranky for some of the trip due to teeth, I think? He's feeling much better now but no new teeth just yet. Keeping my eye out for one. All in all we are having a wonderful summer so far. Life just goes so fast we have to remember to slow down and really take it all in. Especially while these beans are so little...it goes SO fast. I'm really enjoying my time off work being with Sam and Alex when she's not at school. I feel very fortunate that I am able to have this time off. Will probably start back up to work early fall. Also looking forward to that, too.
With that, naptime has come to an abrupt end. I have to go rescue a cranky, sleepy, sweaty baby. It's almost 100 degrees here today! Our upstairs feels like it, too!
Happy Summer!

Brief Update! More to come!

Sam has been "growing like a weed" as alex says. We have come upon many firsts in the last couple months. He is taking a bottle (FINALLY!!!), taking formula, crawling, pulling up on anything he can get his hands on and babbling like crazy. He is so much more laid back than alex was at this age!note in the picture above his joy when seeing he bottle and then crawling quickly to retrieve it.

Sam and Cooper playing tug of war

Sam with new pal Piper. He clearly hasn' learned that old saying 'You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can' t pick your friends nose'

We enjoyed our visit with Marla and Maizie! We miss them like crazy!
