New job, Christmas anticipation, and friendless 'poopies'

Today kicked off my third week of my new job. I am absolutely loving it and so glad I made the switch. I think I have even recruited another friend from where I use to work to join me at my new company. It's all very wonderful. For those of you that don't know I'm now a home health nurse where I make nursing visits to people's homes. I love all the people so much and they are all so grateful for the care and the friendly face. It's a completely different way of nursing not to mention I had to dust my brain off and think 'adult' illnesses and not pediatric. The hours are amazing and Ihope itcontinues to work out so nicely.

I am excitedly awaiting Christmas. I like to just sit in bed at night with my hot chocolate and my book and get side tracked into thinking about CHRISTMAS!!!!!! It's coming! Oh the joy! :) I am probably even more excited than my three year old. Speaking of that sweet girl....

She's quite the character these days (as usual.) Last night as she was stalling for bed and "trying" to potty for the second time, I walked into the bathroom after listening to her grunt and grunt and she hopped off the toilet and said, "well, mama, that's all I can do right now [looks sadly into potty at a tiny little pellet sized single lone poop---looks at me again so concerned and sad and says]...mama, he's not going to have any friends." I guess thoughtfulness is thoughtfulness, right!?

I'm so glad you're back and that you're enjoying your new job. It sounds great!

That story about your girl reminds me so much of you as a little girl. I remember guilting you into letting me play with the "good" Barbies by mentioning how much you might be hurting the other (hollow) Barbies' feelings. Your heartstrings have always been so easy to pull---a very good quality.
