Last night, the tantrum that was my daughter had me wondering if we should ever have another child. I've never seen the Bean with quite the tantrum in her two year old life. It was intense. But after a quiet "resty" on mom's lap all was well and she had come back to us. The tantrum was quickly gotten over and now, I am read for another babe...one day.Here are some pics of the girl when we were practicing our "emotion faces". There is a sad face and of course, the happy face. Her scared face is the best but on this morning I could not get her to do it.
Some vegas pics. I won't bore you with too many. Most are of Tim and I. I was on a mission to get at least one decent picture of the two of us since in ALL our pictures Tim is making a non-serious face, such as the one next to this sentance. Mike got to spend a couple nights with us while we were in vegas and I'm sure he had fun takin pictures of Tim and I all the time! HA! I did get an eye infection (that spread to both eyes) and a sinus infection while we were there (possibly causing the eye issues) but other than that is was a good time!

Here we are trying to be, well, I'm not sure what we were going for here? I just know I really liked Zoltar in the movie Big and thought it was cool they were all over the place so it was only natural to take a picture with Tim infront of it, looking at each other and not the camera...
On a different note entirely, I bought a food processor the other day and am fully in love with it. Not sure why we never had one before. I have made hummus (delicious) and today I made a peanut butter/banana/honey spread that is definately yummy calor-ific treat. I plan on getting most creative soon with fruits for alex as she is my fruit junkie. I am currently trying to get a video to upload on this thing. The whole process has made me feel very computer illiterate and I'm close to giving up.

Looks like you guys had a great time in Vegas! I loev the pics of Alex. Her upset face is a classic. I can't believe she is kinda smiling for the camera now! Miss you!
we did have fun in vegas! i love that she smiles now! at least most of the time but you have to be quick with the camera. miss you too!
I'm glad the tantrum subsided and that you'll be having more kids--the pictures of her are SO cute, by the way. Good Vegas pictures, too. Gabe is the same way about being semi-incapable of taking a serious photo. You'll actually see that in a day or two when I post the pictures from hiking and others from this week.
We just saw the last half-hour or so of Big the other day -- such a good movie :)
Food processors are fantastic!!! Well,actually kyle uses it (he is the cook, and a fantastic one)and I get to clean it (which I actually love doing dishes) But having the food processor.. we have found that it helps save us money. Some of the spices and such that we use, instead of buying it all packaged up and ready to go, we use the processor to puree it (like horseradish) for us and then bottle it our selves. And we just discovered some other settings that will allow us to buy other bulkier items and use the processor to save money! Yeh i love saving money... and then spending on more important things like clothes!
right on, jac! I bought a small food processor but maybe someday in the future I will advance to a larger one. I do like the small one for it's convenience. I also love saving money. it brings me great joy and it makes me feel less guilt when putting it towards something better! yes, like clothes! well said! :)
