somthing to ponder...

So I was just laying on my bed watching Sam sleep while Alex was sleeping and thinking about all the outfits Sam has gone through today for one reason or another. Then I got to thinking that it's a good thing at at some age or another we stop wearing things like: "Mommy's Prince" or "Team Grandpa" or " Daddy's Ice Princess"....even shirts like, "I love my Mommy" or "Daddy's Biggest Fan" all just seem very inappropriate when you imagine a 'grown' up wearing them. I hesitated with word inappropriate, thought about it, but yes, inappropriate is definately the word. I'm pretty sure if I met Tim and he was wearing a shirt that said, "Mommy's little guy" I would have kept walking.

Hahaha so true! Just as all things to do with babies, we gotta enjoy them while we can!

High-larious. I always like to picture adults "walking" around the way kids do---randomly falling, bumping into each other, dropping to the ground in order to crawl under the table to get the cheerio on the floor...

Very astute observation about the inappropriateness of children's clothes for adults :)

Hey, Melissa. I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you a lot lately. I know that you and Grandma had such a special bond. This must be really hard on you, no matter the circumstances. I just wanted to let you know you aer in my thoughts. Keep in touch. We are going to try to visit your parents this summer. I hope you can make it, too.
Miss and Love,
Mandi Jo
