Okay...okay...it's late, but....

So, it's very late (nearly 10pm and well, let me just say, my swollen self does not like to have my eyes open past 10 so this will be short and sweet).

I'm finally giving in to the harassment that it's seriously been FOREVER since I've blogged last. I know. Forgive me. I can't get myself to get on the computer much these days...it all seems too overwhelming to catch up on everything and everyone so I hide from it instead. :) I'll work on it.

Alex had her first soccer practice tonight. It was the cutest. I felt like such a proud mom, almost felt like I might explode with pride and contentment watching my little bean. She did a lot of hugging of her best friend, Grace, (and running off the field to ask me if she could go get a treat at the treat stand and when is snack time, etc.--but then again she is my daughter so this came as no surprise) but did manage to kick/dribble the ball very well. Last night at about 10pm she yelled from her room to ours and said, "What am I supposed to wear to soccer ball?" She didn't know if she should or could wear a dress. She also wanted to paint princesses on the soccer balls---she is all girl.

I'm rather large these days, but that should not be too shocking considering there is a small human growing in me...a small, yet, very active little man human. I'm very excited to meet his little bean. Alex has informed me that there will be a baby girl that will be coming out right after baby Sam--I'm not sure if she thinks immediately following his arrival or in a few years? Hmmmm...but she is sure.

Ok, it's 10:06. WAY past my 'resty' (to use an Alex term) time. I vow to post new pics so very soon.
