it's been a long time, finding a blogging inspiration, bean pie favorites

So, i didn' realize how long it's been since my last post. I'm ashamed and I'm sorry. So sorry. I fell off the blogging wagon and had a hard time motivating myself to get on to my slow ass lap top. thankfully, I was tagged with the Christmas spirit from Marla:

Favourite Christmas memory: Oh dear there are so many I don't even know. I love every Christmas I've ever had. I like the year Santa brought me a stuffed animal kangaroo "kanga" and the year my sister, and neighborhood friends all slept in out attic bedroom (my sister's) and heard footsteps on the roof! We just knew it was santa! I will never forget that feeling! I love slumber parties at my friend Mandy's or Margie's every Christmas night for about 6 plus years in a row! Those were the best! Mostly i love just being with my family and getting as cozy as possible on Christmas eve with my family!

Favorite Christmas song: Oh holy night....or OH Christmas Tree (when Tim's dad sings it in German)

Favorite Christmas character: ELF!!!!!!! there is not greater character in my book!

Is Christmas my favourite holidy? ABSOLUTELY! it is the absolute best! there is no better holiday for me!

LIfe is going well. My girl is growing up so freak'n fast! I still need to post pics! I have a ton from birthday, etc. I will try to tomorrow?
I am lonesome for my girlfriends and my family. Very lonesome. I will miss them this year as we will be with Tim's folks this year. But I know we will have a great time there, too--we always do :)


Fun new alex sayings:

-after any question you ask her she says, "ummmmmm" like she's thinking really hard....even if you just ask her, "do you want some juice"

-today she started a new thing where she leaned in close to my face, widened her eyes, tilted her head (whilst sitting on the little girl potty, procrastinating bedtime and reading a giant book) and said, "YES, Mamma!" after I asked her if she took a bath for daddy (knowing she didn't) and then she giggled this sly little giggle! what a turd pie!

-she is now starting to take her pants off at night and we go in to check on her and her little bare booty is in the air!....her diaper and jammie pants thrown into the hamper!

--she calls any type of clothing she "wants" to wear 'yammies' (aka jammies)---whether they are jammies or day clothes. (i can totally understand her reasoning there! she is MY daughter)

--favorite song: twinkle star

--favorite activity: scribbling with markers and saying made up or a select few of alphabet letters mostly consisting of "a" "b" "e" "me" etc. or vacuuming with me using her mini vacuum that great aunt julie got her! she even uses it's attachment!

I made chicken parmeseam and apple pie yesterday while watching elf. it was the perfect wintry sunday afternoon/evening. tim made two more apple pies tonight! ha! one for work and one for home! we are addicts!

ok, i'm off to bed. it's WAY past my bedtime!
